About Accredited Continuing Education (ACE)

Accredited continuing education is provided by the Dartmouth Health Center for Learning and Professional Development's Accredited Continuing Education (ACE) office. The ACE team is highly experienced in providing accreditation for traditional activities such as conferences, symposiums, webinars, and regularly scheduled series (i.e., grand rounds, morbidity & mortality, tumor boards, journal clubs, etc.), as well as immersive and simulation-based learning, hands-on workshops, and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) activities. Our target audience includes physicians, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, and allied health professionals in the New England region and beyond.

The ACE team is skilled at ensuring our activities are independent and free of commercial bias and will help ensure that joint accreditation requirements are met.

ACE mission

The mission of the Center for Learning and Professional Development’s ACE team is to assist healthcare professionals in meeting their commitments to lifelong learning and enhancing individual and collective knowledge, skills, strategy, performance of the healthcare team, and ultimately the improvement of patient outcomes. We meet our mission by generating evidence-based, unbiased educational activities and interventions in diverse and supportive learning environments.

ACE vision

To achieve the healthiest population possible, we are leading the transformation of health sciences education and research in our region and setting the standard for our nation. We do this by striving to change and evaluate the competence and performance of healthcare teams and individual learners, driving improvements in patient outcomes and population health.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging

At Dartmouth Health, we understand that diversity fosters innovation and creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for our patients, colleagues, and communities. We all work better when we interact with others in a respectful and open-hearted manner.
